In Florida, massage therapists must hold a valid license to practice. At 12th Avenue Massage Therapy Group, all of our therapists are fully licensed.

To become licensed, massage therapists must complete certification at a Board-approved school or an approved apprenticeship program. They must also pass the National Certification Examination and stay up to date with Continuing Education (CEU) requirements.

Massage therapists are required to maintain two active licenses:

• Massage Therapy License
• Establishment License

Both licenses must be displayed in a visible location for patients.
